Who we are

The WE ACT Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center (TCTAC) helps communities across EPA Region 2 (New Jersey, New York, and the 8 Indian Nations of New York) receive FREE technical assistance and capacity-building resources.

We offer training and technical assistance to build capacity for navigating grant application systems, writing strong grant proposals, effectively managing grants, and engaging in environmental and energy justice decision-making.

WE ACT TCTAC assists Environmental Justice Communities through:

  • Building power and knowledge in environmental justice communities
  • Helping groups gain access to grant and funding opportunities
  • Supporting groups ability to advance and address environmental and energy justice issues
  • Strengthening environmental justice networks within our region
